Island County District Court Information

Island County has only one District Court. The Judge is: Ron Costeck. This judicial officer is among the finest I work with.

This court has fairly harsh conditions for the Deferred Finding Option. In addition to only being able to use a Deferred once every seven years (one for moving offenses and one for non-moving offenses): For moving violations the conditions shall include attendance at traffic safety school, payment of the presumptive fine and an administrative fee. For non-moving violations the conditions shall include payment of the presumptive fine and an administrative fee. The administrative fee is $25.
